1962 UD Logam Jawa establishment by Mr. Alim Husin as a modest aluminium kitchenware home industry, with eight employees.

BRIEF HISTORY
     The history started back in the year 1962 from UD Logam Jawa, a modest kitchenware home industry established by Mr. Alim Husin and his partner Mr Gunardi Go. Since then, the company has gradually built up its customer base and gain recognition in the industry as quality and reliable manufacturer. Today, the company is one of Indonesia's most respected group of companies, shaped by the expertise in product innovation and strong spirit of entrepreneurship of the founders. Alim Husin has realized his vision of turning the group into a prominent business force in Indonesia. This vision has been supported by his sons, initially by his eldest son, Alim Markus, which then followed by the other three sons, Alim Mulia Sastra, Alim Satria, and Alim Prakasa. A number of independent career executives have also dedicated their efforts to the success of the Maspion Group.

     The company employs around 13,000 people with production facilities spread out in four industrial area in Sidoarjo and Gresik, East Java, and one factory in Jakarta, West Java. Through the dedication and hard work of its employees, shaped by the strong entrepreneurship and vision of the founders, the company has been able to maintain its leading position in the houseware industry, exhibit continued growth, and creating more values to all the stakeholders.
